LDeX deploys Level 3 Point of Presence (PoP) in new Manchester datacentre

London, United Kingdom – 23rd March 2015: LDeX Group, a national colocation and network services provider, has today announced that Level 3 Communications has deployed a Point of Presence (PoP) at LDeX2, the group’s newest datacentre that was recently launched in the Trafford Park Area of Manchester. This news signals the strength and growth of the LDeX Group and enables customers to connect to the Level 3 global network from both its LDeX1 and LDeX2 data centres.

Level 3 is the first official on-net communications services provider to be confirmed at the group’s Manchester colocation facility. LDeX Group plough ahead with plans for second datacentre ‘LDeX2′ in Manchester

– Expanding UK based datacentre operator to provide best in class colocation services to the Manchester

London, United Kingdom – 9th March 2015:
LDeX Group has today announced that it is to launch a second UK datacentre in Manchester in Q2 of this year, signalling the strength and growth of the carrier neutral datacentre and network connectivity provider.

The new datacentre ‘LDeX2′ will feature best in class colocation facilities with a capacity of 4MVA, network carriers and global Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) as well as 24x7x365 customer support. Confirmed on-net carriers offering ultra-fast low latency connections for clients will also be revealed in Q2.

Similar to LDeX1, the new 20,000 sq. ft. facility in Trafford Park will have an onsite satellite farm and will provide connections to content delivery networks, OTT players and cloud platforms, enabling customers to broadcast large scale events and stream content over multiple hosted platforms. Customers can also look to expect energy efficient facilities which will have a 100% uptime SLA and offer 24x7x365 disaster recovery and remote hands support services.

LDeX Group has today announced that it has appointed Ms Lizzi Long as its new Group Sales Manager with immediate effect.

Ms Long joins LDeX with over four years’ experience in the European Colocation and Hosting sector. She has previously held business development roles in UK Grid Group, Iomart Hosting, UK Fast and TeleCity PLC where she was responsible for managing high profile accounts.

This strategic appointment will play a pivotal role in driving new business development and account management throughout the UK and EMEA for the expanding national datacentre and network connectivity operator which is progressing with plans to extend its’ reach in London, Manchester and Dublin.
