Ping Networks are pleased to announce that we have expanded our data centre footprint and network capacity at one of the best connected sites in the UK – Telehouse North, thus enabling 10Gbps of immediate network capacity, with scope to increase this to 100Gbps, as well as additional data centre footprint to serve colocation requirement within this sought after facility.

Utilising best of breed Juniper kit to hand off to customers we are now able to deliver much higher capacity and lowest latency IP Transit and layer 2 connectivity from this location. Our diverse London metro ring, linking every major data centre in the city, means Clients can also connect between data centres over completely diverse routes.

From any point on this fibre based London network ring, clients are also able to join our diverse 10Gbps London to Manchester network which terminates in and connects all of the Telecity Manchester sites, including the new Joule House data centre, where we are now delivering our full range of network services including IP Transit, Layer 2 and MPLS solutions.

Our colocation solutions available in Telehouse North range from 1u up to multiple full rack solutions within the Ping Networks space, located within a secure private room. All solutions provide dual power supplies with UPS and generator backed mains power supply.

This is an important step forward in Ping’s network expansion program which continues to increase capacity within and between all leading data centres in the UK to meet the demand of our client base.
